About the Role

As a Senior Designer on our Fashion team, you'll direct the design strategy and execution of elevated women's brands. Reporting to the Design Director, you'll own the creative process for high-caliber collections that set the standard for premium retail fashion at Walmart. This full-time position blends creative excellence with commercial acumen to deliver collections that resonate with discerning customers.

What You'll Do

• Develop innovative design concepts and mood boards rooted in trend research and market analysis
• Guide garment sketches, construction details, and technical specifications through the complete design cycle
• Collaborate with merchandising, sourcing, and production teams to ensure quality and timely delivery
• Build and mentor junior design talent, establishing design standards and best practices
• Present design collections and strategic direction to leadership and cross-functional partners
• Oversee production samples and quality assurance to maintain premium brand integrity
• Stay ahead of fashion trends and evolving consumer preferences in the elevated women's segment

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional fashion design experience, ideally in elevated or premium brands
• Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, design range, and flawless execution
• Deep expertise in garment construction, fabrication knowledge, and technical design principles
• Proficiency with design software including Adobe Creative Suite, CAD, or equivalent tools
• Proven ability to manage projects from concept through production and retail launch
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across creative and commercial teams
• Understanding of retail business drivers and ability to balance creativity with commercial viability
• Fashion degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
