About the Role
Affinius Capital serves an international client base with strategic equity and debt capital solutions across North America and Europe. As we scale our technology infrastructure to support this growth, we're seeking a Senior Desktop Support Technician who can lead technical initiatives, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor team members in our San Antonio headquarters.
What You'll Do
- Provide advanced desktop and hardware support to staff across multiple locations, resolving technical issues efficiently and thoroughly
- Manage hardware inventory, procurement, deployment, and lifecycle management for desktops, laptops, and peripherals
- Support software installations, updates, and patch management across the organization
- Troubleshoot network connectivity and peripheral issues, escalating complex problems to infrastructure teams as needed
- Mentor junior support staff and contribute to documentation and best practices
- Maintain ticketing systems and track support metrics to improve response times and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with other technical teams to ensure seamless IT operations
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of desktop support experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows and macOS environments
- Experience with hardware inventory management and IT asset tracking systems
- Knowledge of network basics and common connectivity troubleshooting
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with both technical and non-technical users
- Ability to prioritize multiple support requests and manage your time effectively
- Experience mentoring or training other support staff is preferred
- Security awareness and commitment to IT best practices and compliance
