What This Role Involves
The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer at Atom Computing will be responsible for designing and implementing security controls to protect our quantum computing systems. You will design the security architecture based on NIST 800-53/171 frameworks, then build and deploy it yourself: configurations, scripts, integrations, maintenance, and operations.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Design and implement security controls for quantum computing systems
- Create and maintain security architecture based on NIST 800-53/171 frameworks
- Build and deploy configurations, scripts, and integrations
- Maintain and operate the security infrastructure
Qualifications
- Experience in designing and implementing security controls for complex systems
- Familiarity with NIST 800-53/171 frameworks
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Knowledge of network security principles and practices
- Experience with system administration and operations
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
