This is a full-time position for an experienced sales professional ready to build and manage high-value automotive advertiser relationships in one of America's most competitive markets.

The Opportunity

Join iHeartMedia's advertising sales team and partner with automotive dealerships, manufacturers, and related businesses to amplify their brands across our expansive radio and digital audio network. You'll represent the power of audio—a medium that reaches millions of people daily during their commute, workday, and leisure time. As a Senior Automotive Account Executive in Chicago, you'll leverage iHeartMedia's unmatched scale and audience insights to close deals that drive measurable results for clients while building recurring revenue streams for the company.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and acquire new automotive accounts in the Chicago metropolitan area
  • Manage existing automotive client relationships and identify expansion opportunities within each account
  • Develop customized audio advertising solutions that align with client goals and budgets
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and ROI proposals to decision-makers
  • Coordinate with marketing, creative, and operations teams to ensure flawless campaign execution
  • Track and report on account performance metrics and advertising spend
  • Meet and exceed quarterly revenue targets and account growth objectives

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, with a track record in media sales, automotive sales, or account management
  • Proven ability to close large deals and build long-term client partnerships
  • Strong knowledge of the automotive industry, dealership operations, or automotive marketing
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a portfolio of accounts effectively
  • Familiarity with audio, radio, or digital media platforms preferred
  • Willingness to meet clients in-person and spend time in the field
