The Opportunity

Join Atom Computing as a Senior ASIC Designer to contribute to the development of digital signal processing (DSP) blocks for our cutting-edge quantum computing systems. This role involves translating complex system requirements into production-ready designs and making critical trade-offs across performance, power, area, and system integration constraints.

Core Duties

• Design and develop DSP blocks from requirements definition through silicon bring-up
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with broader system and product goals
• Make key trade-offs across performance, power, area, and system integration constraints
• Collaborate with theory, software, hardware, and optics teams for successful project outcomes

Skills & Qualifications

• Deep ASIC development expertise
• Strong systems thinking skills
• Aptitude to independently drive complex design work
• Experience in digital signal processing (DSP)
• Proficiency in relevant design tools and methodologies
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
