About the Role

In this school-year psychology position, you'll conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions supporting student mental health and academic performance. Your work will span evaluation, individual and group counseling, behavioral consultation, and collaborative planning with school teams—all essential functions in today's schools.

What You'll Do

  • Administer and interpret psychoeducational assessments, cognitive testing, and behavioral evaluations
  • Develop and implement counseling, intervention, and mental health support plans
  • Consult with teachers and administrators on behavior management, social-emotional learning, and student support strategies
  • Participate in special education assessment, IEP planning, and multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Provide crisis support, risk assessment, and safety planning when needed
  • Maintain clinical documentation and progress monitoring records in compliance with district standards
  • Engage families as partners in supporting student wellbeing and academic growth

What We're Looking For

  • Michigan school psychologist license or equivalent out-of-state credential
  • Master's degree in school psychology, clinical psychology, or related field
