SAP Basis Administrator

Accenture Federal Services seeks a skilled SAP Basis Administrator to join our team onsite in Saint Louis, Missouri. In this full-time role, you will maintain and optimize SAP systems that support critical federal government operations across defense, national security, public safety, and civilian health missions.

About the Role

As a SAP Basis Administrator at Accenture Federal Services, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of SAP systems. You'll work with federal clients who depend on reliable, secure, and high-performing enterprise applications. Your expertise will directly support mission-critical operations for US government agencies and their public safety initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems and infrastructure in alignment with federal security and compliance standards
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply patches and updates to ensure continuous availability
• Manage user access, security profiles, and authentication mechanisms for SAP environments
• Perform regular backups, disaster recovery testing, and system administration tasks
• Collaborate with development teams, database administrators, and stakeholders to support SAP deployments and upgrades
• Document system configurations, procedures, and technical solutions for knowledge transfer
• Support compliance requirements and federal security protocols specific to government operations

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a SAP Basis Administrator in enterprise environments
• Strong knowledge of SAP system architecture, landscapes, and administration tools
• Experience with SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, or other SAP technologies
• Proficiency in Linux and/or Windows server administration
• Understanding of database management principles and tools
• Familiarity with federal compliance frameworks and security standards (FedRAMP, NIST, or similar)
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
