Position Summary
The CPA firm is seeking an experienced State and Local Tax (SALT) Tax Preparer to join their team. This role will support the Firm’s State and Local Tax practice by preparing accurate and timely state and local tax returns and related compliance filings for clients across a variety of industries.
Core Duties
- Prepare state and local tax returns for clients in various industries
- Ensure all state and local tax filings are completed accurately and on time
- Assist with client inquiries related to state and local tax compliance
- Stay current with state and local tax regulations and changes
Who We're Looking For
- At least two years of experience in tax preparation, including exposure to state and local tax compliance
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
