Sales and Service Rep (Hourly)

Join Safety-Kleen as a Sales and Service Rep in Lancaster, Dallas, where you'll drive customer relationships and deliver essential industrial services across a dedicated territory. This is a full-time hourly position that combines hands-on service delivery with direct sales in the environmental and industrial services sector.

About the Role

As a Sales and Service Rep, you'll operate a Class B commercial vehicle to service customers throughout your assigned route. Your responsibilities span both proactive sales and responsive maintenance work, building strong relationships with existing clients while identifying growth opportunities across your service area. You'll work independently, managing your time and route to maximize customer satisfaction and revenue generation.

What You'll Do

• Operate a Class B box truck to deliver onsite service and support for parts washer equipment at customer locations
• Collect and manage containerized hazardous waste in compliance with environmental regulations
• Present and sell products and services tailored to each customer's operational needs
• Maintain detailed records of service visits, waste pickups, and customer transactions
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment in the field
• Build long-term customer relationships and identify upsell opportunities within your territory
• Ensure all work meets Safety-Kleen's quality and safety standards

What We're Looking For

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or ability to obtain one
• Professional driving record meeting company standards
• Demonstrated sales ability and comfort with consultative selling
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Physical capability to handle hazardous materials and perform field work
• Reliability and a track record of meeting commitments to customers and employers
