About the Role
As a Class B CDL Sales Route Driver, you'll operate our fleet serving the Hudson Valley region. You'll manage an assigned customer route, handle service calls, collect hazardous waste, and grow customer relationships—all while building expertise in one of the country's most essential industries.
What You'll Do
- Operate a Class B box truck on a defined route throughout Dutchess County
- Install, service, and maintain containerized parts washer machines at customer locations
- Collect and transport hazardous waste containers in full compliance with environmental and safety regulations
- Identify customer needs and sell products and additional services to expand account relationships
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation for every stop
- Represent Safety-Kleen professionally and uphold our service and safety standards daily
What We're Looking For
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Commitment to obtaining your Class B CDL (we cover all training costs)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to perform physical work, including regular lifting and handling
- Reliability, punctuality, and strong attention to detail
- Comfort working with hazardous materials in a regulated, safety-first environment
