RN - Registered Nurse, Experienced and New Graduate Nurses

Geisinger Medical Center in Danville is hiring full-time Registered Nurses for inpatient positions, welcoming both newly graduated and experienced RN professionals to join our clinical care team.

About the Role

As an inpatient Registered Nurse at Geisinger Medical Center, you'll deliver direct patient care in a dynamic hospital setting. You'll work alongside physicians, specialists, and support staff to provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing to hospitalized patients. What You'll Do

• Assess and monitor patient conditions, including vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment
• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapies according to physician orders and nursing protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and electronic health records documentation
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions
• Advocate for patient safety, comfort, and dignity throughout the care process
• Respond to patient needs and concerns with professionalism and compassion

What We're Looking For

• Current RN license in Pennsylvania
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care and professional development
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends as needed

Compensation and Benefits

Geisinger offers competitive compensation to attract and retain nursing talent. New graduate RNs are eligible for hiring incentives up to $19,000, while experienced RNs can qualify for incentives up to $24,000. Base pay starts at a minimum of $41.50 per hour, with increased rates for experienced professionals. Shift differentials up to $7 per hour are available for evening, night, and weekend shifts.
