About This Position

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time position on the MedSurg and Neuroscience teams. The role will be based in Winder, Georgia, GA. At Piedmont Athens Regional, you'll join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals working in a 30-bed acute care facility that specializes in stroke, spinal injuries, head injuries, and pre- and post-operative surgical needs.

What You'll Do

• Care for patients with various neurological conditions including stroke, spinal injuries, and head injuries.
• Perform NIHSS-assessment certified procedures and attend the Georgia Stroke Class Curriculum.
• Provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing pre- and post-operative surgical needs in a MedSurg setting.
• Work within a DNV Stroke Certified Neuroscience floor at Piedmont Athens Regional, a primary stroke center.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Certified in NIHSS assessment and Georgia Stroke Class Curriculum preferred.
• Experience working with neurological patients is highly desirable.
• A strong commitment to patient care and a collaborative team environment is essential.
