The role will be based in Winder, Barrow County, GA. At Piedmont Athens Regional, you'll join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals working in a 30-bed acute care facility that specializes in stroke, spinal injuries, head injuries, and pre- and post-operative surgical needs. What You'll Do Care for patients with various neurological conditions including stroke, spinal injuries, and head injuries. Perform NIHSS-assessment certified procedures and attend the Georgia Stroke Class Curriculum. Provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing pre- and post-operative surgical needs in a MedSurg setting. Work within a DNV Stroke Certified Neuroscience floor at Piedmont Athens Regional, a primary stroke center. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) license required. Certified in NIHSS assessment and Georgia Stroke Class Curriculum preferred. Experience working with neurological patients is highly desirable. A strong commitment to patient care and a collaborative team environment is essential.
