Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical role at NCH in Naples, Collier County.

About the Role

This position is based in the NNH Med Surg 1 unit located at 11190 Health Park Blvd, Naples, FL 34110. The role involves delivering bedside care to a diverse patient population on a 12‑hour shift schedule. This is a full‑time position.

What You'll Do

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs throughout the shift.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and prescribed treatments according to physician orders.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to develop and adjust care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system.
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment, and post‑discharge instructions.
• Uphold infection control, safety protocols, and quality improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Florida.
• BSN preferred; ADN with commitment to obtain BSN considered.
• Minimum one year of recent medical‑surgical or acute care experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced team environment.
