About the Role
As a registered nurse on this unit, you will work alongside physicians, therapists, and support staff to assess patient needs, create care plans, administer treatments, and monitor outcomes. This role requires working onsite; telecommuting or hybrid options are not available. The position offers full‑time, part‑time, or PRN schedule options with shifts that include nights, weekends, and rotating patterns, and provides an hourly wage range of $35.29 to $54.71 based on experience.
What You'll Do
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, therapies, and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Continuously monitor vital signs, recognize changes in condition, and initiate appropriate interventions.
- Accurately document all nursing activities in the electronic health record.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions, discharge planning, and self‑care strategies.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and follow infection‑control policies.
- Support less experienced staff and promote a collaborative, team‑focused environment.
What We're Looking For
- A current, unrestricted RN license issued by the State of Colorado.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS or PALS preferred depending on unit assignment.
- Ability to work full‑time, part‑time, or PRN hours with availability for night, weekend, and rotating shifts.
- Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient‑centered care.
- Prior acute‑care hospital experience is advantageous, but new graduates with solid clinical fundamentals are encouraged to apply.
