Retail Merchandiser Team Lead

The Retail Odyssey Company is hiring a full-time Retail Merchandiser Team Lead to drive in-store merchandising excellence across our retail partnerships in Palmer, Matanuska-Susitna. In this field-based leadership position, you'll manage merchandising execution, lead a small team through display implementations, and ensure every store location reflects our brand standards and maximizes sales potential.

About the Role

As a Retail Merchandiser Team Lead, you'll be the hands-on leader responsible for bringing merchandising strategy to life in retail environments. This is a full-time, field-based position requiring travel to multiple store locations to oversee all aspects of visual merchandising and inventory management.

What You'll Do

• Execute planograms and merchandising resets to retail partner specifications
• Lead your merchandising team through visual display installations and maintenance activities
• Build and maintain visually compelling, fully stocked product displays that engage customers and support sales goals
• Coordinate team schedules and manage operations across multiple store locations
• Conduct quality audits and visual walkthroughs to ensure compliance with merchandising standards
• Partner with store management to address display challenges and gather feedback
• Report project completion and team performance metrics using mobile tools
• Train team members on proper installation techniques and visual merchandising best practices

What We're Looking For

• Proven supervisory or team leadership experience in retail or merchandising environments
• Strong understanding of planogram execution and visual merchandising principles
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with retail partners and teams
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on visual excellence and accuracy
• Ability to manage logistics and coordinate schedules across multiple locations
• Comfortable with field-based work and regular travel within the service area
• Proficiency with mobile technology for reporting and data collection
