About the Role
As a Retail Merchandiser with The Retail Odyssey Company, you'll be the driving force behind how products are presented to shoppers. You'll execute merchandising strategies that maximize visibility, drive sales, and enhance the overall customer experience. Working directly with retail partners, you'll ensure every brand and product category meets presentation standards and captures customer attention.
What You'll Do
- Execute merchandising displays and product layouts according to brand guidelines and seasonal strategies
- Stock shelves, rotate inventory, and maintain product freshness and availability
- Ensure price accuracy, signage, and promotional materials are correctly placed and visible
- Monitor shelf space and product performance to optimize sales opportunities
- Collaborate with retail store managers and staff to coordinate merchandising initiatives
- Conduct regular audits of assigned retail locations to verify merchandising compliance
- Gather sales data and customer feedback to identify merchandising improvements
- Maintain detailed records of store visits, product placements, and inventory levels
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Proven experience in retail merchandising, product display, or related retail environment
- Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple retail locations
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with store teams
- Physical ability to lift, reach, and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Passion for creating engaging shopping experiences
