About the Role

What You'll Do

  • Design and execute rodent neural imaging experiments to evaluate neurophysiological responses and device efficacy
  • Develop and optimize imaging protocols, including data acquisition and recording methodologies
  • Analyze neural imaging datasets using quantitative and computational methods
  • Partner with engineering and research teams to integrate imaging validation into device development cycles
  • Maintain imaging systems, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure experimental reliability
  • Document experimental outcomes through comprehensive records and scientific reporting

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in neuroscience, biomedical engineering, physiology, or a closely related discipline
  • Hands-on experience with rodent models and in vivo neural recording, imaging, or electrophysiology
  • Proficiency in experimental design, statistical analysis, and quantitative data interpretation
  • Working knowledge of neuroscience programming and analysis tools (Python, MATLAB, or equivalent)
  • Strong collaborative and communication abilities across technical and scientific teams
  • Dedication to scientific rigor and precision in experimental execution
