Position Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Sr US Privacy Project Program Manager to join our dynamic team. This role requires 10 years of experience in privacy compliance and a bachelor's degree. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of privacy laws in North America, including HIPAA, PIPEDA, and U.S. state regulations, as well as experience with anti-bribery, anti-competition, anti-money laundering, economic sanctions, and whistleblowing.
Core Duties
- Ensure compliance with data privacy laws and regulations in North America
- Develop and manage project plans for privacy initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement privacy programs and policies
- Monitor and report on data privacy compliance metrics and incidents
- Educate and train employees on privacy best practices and legal requirements
Requirements
- 10 years of experience in privacy compliance
- Bachelor's degree required
- Demonstrated knowledge of HIPAA, PIPEDA, U.S. state regulations, anti-bribery, anti-competition, anti-money laundering, economic sanctions, and whistleblowing
- Experience with document/data retention requirements and data privacy compliance and incident management
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Affinity for working in a remote environment
