About the Role
As a Registered Nurse working nights at our rehabilitation hospital, you'll deliver direct patient care within a specialized medical environment focused on recovery and recovery optimization. This night shift position places you at the heart of patient advocacy, clinical decision-making, and therapeutic support for individuals progressing through inpatient rehabilitation programs.
What You'll Do
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to assigned patients, including vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and wound assessment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams to implement and adjust treatment plans
- Respond to patient needs with compassion and clinical expertise during night shift hours
- Maintain accurate patient records and communicate patient status to day shift staff and providers
- Educate patients and families on recovery processes and discharge preparation
- Monitor for complications and changes in patient condition, escalating concerns appropriately
What We're Looking For
- Current, active RN licensure in Texas
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, evidence-based patient care
