About the Role
As a Reefer Truck Driver with EOS Trucking, you'll transport temperature-controlled freight across consistent regional lanes, with drop-hook arrangements that minimize your time at docks. You'll enjoy steady weekly miles and predictable dispatch, built around the reliability that cold chain logistics demands.
What You'll Do
- Operate refrigerated trailers on regional routes with consistent home time frequency
- Execute drop-hook delivery procedures, reducing nonproductive time at customer sites
- Maintain vehicle logs, inspection reports, and DOT compliance documentation
- Monitor temperature systems and cargo integrity throughout each haul
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route updates and delivery status
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections per federal safety standards
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record and references from previous employers
- Minimum 1 year of commercial trucking experience (reefer experience preferred)
- Professional attitude with strong safety awareness and mechanical common sense
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with dispatch and customers
