Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RCIS Crop Claims Specialist or Claims Crop Field Adjuster I to join our team at Zurich North America. This role involves assessing crop damage claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing of insurance policies, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of integrity.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and adjust crop claims in accordance with company guidelines and industry standards.
• Conduct field assessments to determine the extent of crop damage and losses.
• Communicate effectively with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders regarding claim status and resolution.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation for each claim processed.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.

What You Bring

• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a Crop Claims Specialist or Field Adjuster, preferably with an insurance company.
• Strong knowledge of crop insurance policies and claim procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle customer interactions effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for report writing and data management.
• A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for field assessments (within 50 miles of Fresno, Madera, Tulare, or Kings County).
