About the Role

This role is for a Python Software Engineer to join a technology-driven trading firm in London. The successful candidate will be part of a growing team developing and running systematic and market-making strategies across multiple asset classes using a sophisticated in-house technology platform.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize high-performance Python code for real-time pricing, execution, and risk management systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust solutions for complex trading strategies.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the in-house technology platform by identifying and addressing technical challenges.
• Ensure compliance with best practices in software development, including code reviews and documentation.

What You Bring

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Python Software Engineer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming language, along with knowledge of related libraries and frameworks.
• Experience working on high-frequency trading systems or other performance-critical applications is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently within a team environment.
