Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Purchasing Manager to lead our procurement function at Godden Food Group (GFG). As one of Australia's leading independent foodservice distributors, GFG supplies pubs, clubs, restaurants, cafés, hotels, and institutional customers with a wide range of foodservice products. This role will drive procurement and growth opportunities within the company.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the procurement function to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain management
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize vendor relationships and improve supplier performance
- Manage the deli operations, ensuring product quality and compliance with food safety standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address operational challenges
