The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a dedicated Pulmonary Technologist to join our team at Johns Hopkins Community Physicians (JHCP) in Mount Rainier, Maryland. As part of the region's largest healthcare network, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our medical professionals.
Your Responsibilities
- Assist with the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases through the use of diagnostic imaging techniques
- Prepare patients for pulmonary function tests and other diagnostic procedures
- Operate and maintain advanced medical equipment used in pulmonary testing
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure accurate patient care
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory guidelines
What We're Looking For
- A degree or certification as a Pulmonary Technologist from an accredited program
- Experience in pulmonary function testing or related field is preferred but not required
