What This Role Involves

The role of a CT Technologist at Patterns Hiring - Perm involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) equipment. Core Duties

• Prepare and position patients for CT scans to ensure clear images are obtained
• Operate CT equipment safely and effectively, following established protocols
• Maintain patient safety by monitoring vital signs during procedures
• Document patient information and examination results accurately in the medical record
• Follow all hospital policies and procedures related to patient care and safety
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with new technologies and techniques

Qualifications

• Absolute requirement: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or eligibility for certification
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in CT technology preferred but not required
• Must have a strong understanding of CT imaging techniques and procedures
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
• Able to work effectively as part of a team and independently
• Physical ability to assist in patient positioning and movement during exams
