Provider Clinical Operations Consultant, Senior Manager

PwC is seeking a Provider Clinical Operations Consultant, Senior Manager to join our Management Consulting practice in Chicago's Illinois Medical District. This is a full-time opportunity to drive operational transformation across health services organizations.

About the Role

As a Provider Clinical Operations Consultant, Senior Manager, you'll work with healthcare systems and health services providers to identify inefficiencies, implement process improvements, and execute strategic operational initiatives. Leading cross-functional teams and engaging directly with client stakeholders, you'll translate clinical and operational challenges into actionable solutions that enhance delivery, reduce costs, and improve patient outcomes. This role involves up to 80% travel to client sites.

What You'll Do

• Partner with healthcare organizations to assess clinical operations, identify optimization opportunities, and develop improvement roadmaps
• Lead diagnostic work on provider operations including scheduling, supply chain management, staffing models, and clinical workflows
• Design and oversee implementation of operational solutions across ambulatory, inpatient, and ancillary services
• Mentor junior consultants and manage engagement delivery and client relationships
• Develop business cases and financial models supporting operational recommendations

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of progressive experience in healthcare operations, hospital administration, or health services consulting
• Track record managing large, complex consulting engagements with C-level client contact
• Deep expertise in provider operations, clinical process improvement, or healthcare management
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and lead organizational change
• Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent healthcare credential preferred
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 80% as needed for client work
