What This Role Involves
The Capital Projects Lead - Mechanical role involves providing leadership across various mechanical projects. Reporting to the Capital Projects Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing project execution and ensuring alignment with company goals and standards.
Core Duties
- Provide strategic direction and leadership in the planning and implementation of mechanical projects.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and industry best practices.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and construction to ensure seamless project execution.
What We're Looking For
- A competitive base salary with an allowance of $25,000 per annum.
- An annual bonus opportunity.
- 4/3 rostering – working Monday to Thursday with FIFO from the Townsville area.
- Proven experience in mechanical project management within the fertiliser or related industries.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
