Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team at Destec Contracting Pty in Perth. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing crushing and processing equipment on a 2 weeks on, 1 week off roster from Perth. This role offers both casual employment and full-time contracts.
Core Duties
- Maintenance, repairs, and inspections of crushing and screening equipment
- Fault finding and troubleshooting to ensure maximum plant reliability and performance
- Performing routine maintenance tasks as required
- Assisting with the setup and operation of machinery when necessary
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Fitter who can work in a fast-paced environment. Key requirements include:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar role
- Demonstrated ability to perform routine maintenance tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Able to work on-site in Perth, with no remote working option available
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
