Project HSE Coordinator (Data Centers)

Jacobs seeks an experienced Project HSE Coordinator (Data Centers) to join our team in Highland Park, Dallas, as a full-time member of our Advanced Manufacturing division. About the Role

As Project HSE Coordinator for our data center initiatives, you'll oversee safety strategy, compliance, and continuous improvement across project phases. You'll be the voice for worker protection, environmental stewardship, and regulatory adherence—ensuring every team member goes home safe while we deliver world-class infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE plans and protocols tailored to data center construction and operations
• Conduct regular safety audits, site inspections, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards
• Investigate incidents and near-misses, preparing reports and recommendations to prevent recurrence
• Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to project personnel on hazard recognition and best practices
• Partner with project managers, engineers, and field teams to embed safety into daily workflows
• Maintain HSE documentation, permits, and compliance records; prepare reports for regulatory agencies and stakeholders
• Stay current with OSHA standards, data center safety guidelines, and evolving industry regulations
• Champion a positive safety culture that makes HSE everyone's responsibility

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as an HSE Coordinator, Safety Officer, or equivalent role in construction, manufacturing, or data center environments
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety management systems, and incident investigation methodologies
• Excellent communication and training skills; ability to influence and educate diverse teams
• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to track multiple priorities and drive compliance
• Relevant certification (CSP, ASP, CHST, or similar) is a plus
• Proficiency with safety software, documentation systems, and basic Microsoft Office tools
• Passion for making workplaces safer and a proactive approach to problem-solving
