The Opportunity
A fixed term or secondment opportunity ending 30 June 2027 is available to join the Disability Support Services Transformation team. This Wellington-based role will be crucial in supporting the transformation of the disability support system for disabled people, whānau, and communities.
What You'll Do
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the implementation of the Disability Support Services Transformation programme
- Collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery
- Contributing to the development and monitoring of performance metrics for the transformation initiative
- Assisting in the design and delivery of training programmes for staff involved in disability support services
Skills & Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in social work, public administration, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in programme coordination and project management
- A strong understanding of disability support services and the challenges faced by disabled people, whānau, and communities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders effectively
