About the Role

You will be joining the Transformation Group to support a programme of work focused on improving outcomes for New Zealanders. The Programme Office enables delivery through strong coordination, governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement. As a Programme Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the effective delivery of this program.

What You'll Do

• Support the programme's delivery by coordinating activities across multiple stakeholders
• Ensure strong governance through regular reporting and documentation
• Engage with diverse stakeholders to gather feedback and insights
• Contribute to the development of strategic plans and initiatives
• Maintain accurate records and manage administrative tasks related to the programme

Requirements

• Experience in project or programme coordination, preferably within a government or public sector context
• A strong understanding of governance principles and practices
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also demonstrating initiative and independence
