The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Production Manager to join our high-performance, project-driven manufacturing business in Perth, Western Australia. As an owner-led company, we operate with quick decision-making and regular performance reviews. This is a part-time role based at our Heathridge location.
What You'll Do
- Oversee production processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met
- Develop and implement strategies for process improvement and capacity expansion
- Manage the production team, setting clear goals and providing regular feedback
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely project delivery
- Monitor inventory levels and manage supply chain logistics
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a production management role within the manufacturing industry, preferably in steel framing or related sectors
- A strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate a team
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
