What This Role Involves

The Process Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining the processing equipment to ensure efficient production of timber products. Key duties include monitoring machine operations, performing routine maintenance tasks, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to process raw timber into finished products
• Maintain equipment in good working condition through regular cleaning and minor repairs
• Conduct daily inspections of machines for any signs of wear or damage
• Follow safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment
• Document machine operation and maintenance activities accurately

What We're Looking For

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the timber processing industry
• Familiarity with various types of machinery used in timber processing operations
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Good physical fitness, as the job involves lifting and moving heavy objects
• A valid driver’s license is required for travel between work sites
