Principal Security Assistant, EPASS HB – US-UT-Ogden with Security Clearance

HX5, LLC is seeking a detail-driven Principal Security Assistant to support the EPASS HB program at Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, Weber County, Utah. This full-time, on-site role places you at the center of safeguarding people, facilities, and sensitive information for one of the nation's leading providers of engineering and technical services.

About the Role

As a Principal Security Assistant in Ogden, Utah, you will provide senior-level administrative and operational support to HX5's security function under the EPASS HB contract. Working directly with mission partners at Hill Air Force Base, you will help ensure that personnel, industrial, and information security programs run smoothly and remain fully compliant with Department of Defense requirements. An active security clearance is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer day-to-day security operations and recordkeeping in support of the EPASS HB program.
• Process and track personnel security actions, including clearance and access documentation.
• Maintain accurate, audit-ready security files and databases in accordance with DoD guidelines.
• Coordinate with government counterparts, program staff, and visitors on access and badging matters.
• Assist with security education, briefings, and compliance reporting across the program.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. government security clearance.
• Proven experience providing security administration or assistant-level support, ideally within a defense or government setting.
• Strong working knowledge of personnel and information security procedures.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and recordkeeping discipline.
• Ability to work on-site full time at Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah.
