Capital One's Brand Creative team is searching for a Principal Associate, ACD, Art Director to shape how a Fortune 100 brand shows up across audiences, products, and channels from our Tysons Corner office in Fairfax County.

About the Role

As a Principal Associate, ACD, Art Director on Capital One Brand Creative, you will translate strategy into compelling visual storytelling for one of the most recognized names in finance. This is a full-time, on-site position in Tysons Corner, Fairfax County, ideal for a seasoned Associate Creative Director who wants to bring a personable, energetic, and approachable brand to life. While Capital One is known for credit cards, banking products and services, and leading technology, our creative voice is anything but corporate.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and direct original art direction that expresses the Capital One brand across diverse audiences and communication types.
• Adapt creative concepts for multiple products, platforms, and channels while keeping the brand consistent and recognizable.
• Partner with copywriters, designers, strategists, and cross-functional teams to deliver polished, on-brand work.
• Guide and mentor creative collaborators, raising the craft and quality of every deliverable.
• Champion a brand personality that stays fun, human, and engaging in every execution.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Associate Creative Director or Art Director, ideally within brand or in-house creative teams.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating concept development and art direction across channels and audiences.
• Skill in balancing brand consistency with fresh, audience-specific creative ideas.
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities for working across cross-functional teams.
• Comfort working on-site full-time in Tysons Corner, Fairfax County.
