What You'll Do
- Meet with prospective borrowers to understand their financial situations and mortgage needs
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with real estate professionals and mortgage brokers
- Evaluate borrower qualifications and recommend appropriate loan products
- Prepare complete, accurate mortgage applications and supporting documentation
- Collaborate with underwriting, appraisal, and closing teams to ensure timely loan approvals
- Stay informed on industry regulations, lending guidelines, and market trends
- Develop your client base through agent referrals and broker relationships
What We're Looking For
- Valid Washington mortgage loan officer license (licenses in other states are valuable)
- Proven experience originating residential purchase mortgages
- Established success working with real estate agents and brokers
- Comfortable with loan origination software and standard computer applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to compliance in a regulated industry
