About the Role

ELMO Cloud HR & Payroll is seeking an experienced and passionate Practice Lead to establish and lead Uru Whetū Rangatahi Counselling Service, an innovative kaupapa Māori after-hours counselling and wellbeing service supporting rangatahi aged 12-24 years across Waitaha. This full-time role involves working two days from 8:30am - 5:00pm and three days from 1:00pm - 9:00pm.

What You'll Do

• Establish and lead Uru Whetū Rangatahi Counselling Service, an innovative kaupapa Māori after-hours counselling and wellbeing service supporting rangatahi aged 12-24 years across Waitaha.
• Provide high-quality, culturally responsive mental health support to rangatahi in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of the service.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and community partners.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experienced and passionate Practice Lead in a similar role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and support rangatahi within a kaupapa Māori context.
• Strong cultural awareness and understanding of Māori values and principles.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
