About This Position

We are seeking a Policy Manager to join our team at Cymorth Cymru in Blackweir, Cardiff. As an expert by experience and advocate for psychologically informed environments (PIE), you will play a crucial role in shaping policies that support people with lived experiences of homelessness and housing challenges.

Core Duties

• Develop and implement policies that promote compassionate and effective support services.
• Engage with experts by experience to ensure their voices are heard and integrated into policy development.
• Advocate for systemic changes that improve the lives of individuals facing homelessness and housing issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including government bodies, NGOs, and community organizations.

Who We're Looking For

• A strong commitment to empowering people with lived experiences in policy development.
• Experience working in the homelessness or housing support sector is highly desirable.
• Excellent advocacy skills and a passion for making a difference.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
