About the Role

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis on policy issues impacting the district
• Develop, review, and update policies to ensure they align with strategic objectives
• Collaborate with various stakeholders including local government bodies, community groups, and residents
• Prepare reports and presentations for council meetings and public forums
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and best practices in policy development

What We're Looking For

• A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as public administration, law, or community development
• Proven experience in policy analysis and development
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to fostering positive relationships with diverse stakeholders
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in project management is desirable but not essential
