About the Role

As a Pokémon TCG Instructor with Concorde Education, you will deliver a short-format enrichment course on-site at a partner school, typically meeting once a week for one hour across a ten-week session. This is an after-school, face-to-face position with rolling openings tied to individual school calendars, so exact days, times, and locations vary by assignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate engaging, student-centered Pokémon Trading Card Game lessons for the duration of the ten-week course
• Teach gameplay fundamentals, deck-building basics, and good sportsmanship in an age-appropriate way
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and safe classroom environment for every participant
• Maintain consistent communication and reliable attendance throughout the scheduled program
• Adapt activities to suit the skill levels and interests of the students in your group

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of and genuine enthusiasm for the Pokémon Trading Card Game
• Strong rapport with school-aged students and the ability to keep them engaged
• Clear communication, dependability, and strong classroom-management skills
• Availability to teach in person, after school, at a partner site in Jere Baxter, Davidson County
• Comfortable working independently while representing Concorde Education professionally
