Position Summary
The Pillar Head role at A*STAR is focused on developing and executing sector-specific growth strategies to strengthen Singapore (nationwide) (nationwide)'s manufacturing ecosystem. This position will lead industry engagement, demand generation, partnerships, and value creation within the assigned sector. You will bridge industry needs with research solutions from A*STAR.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement strategic plans for growth in advanced manufacturing sectors
- Engage with key stakeholders including industry leaders, government agencies, and academic institutions to foster collaboration and innovation
- Generate demand for A*STAR's research outputs by identifying market needs and aligning them with R&D capabilities
- BUILD PARTNERSHIPS WITH INDUSTRY TO BRIDGE NEEDS WITH RESEARCH SOLUTIONS
- Create sustainable industry impact through the commercialization of advanced technologies and processes
