About the Role
This full-time, on-site position at KDMC Ashland Hospital Corporation places you at the center of physician relations and outreach strategy. As the Senior Physician Education & Outreach Specialist, you will take ownership of initiatives designed to strengthen provider education programs and expand the hospital's referral and community network.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate physician education programs that align with organizational goals and clinical best practices
- Develop and implement outreach strategies to build and maintain relationships with referring physicians and provider groups
- Serve as a primary liaison between KDMC Ashland Hospital Corporation and the broader medical community
- Identify opportunities to improve provider engagement and drive growth in physician partnerships
- Collaborate with internal clinical and administrative teams to support educational content development and delivery
- Track outreach activity, measure program effectiveness, and report on key metrics
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in physician relations, healthcare outreach, or a related field at a senior or lead level
- Strong understanding of healthcare systems, clinical education, and physician engagement strategies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust across diverse stakeholder groups
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred; equivalent professional experience considered
