Phlebotomist III Territory

Quest Diagnostics is hiring a Phlebotomist III Territory to deliver professional specimen collection services across an assigned region in Norfolk, VA. This is a full-time, on-site position working Monday through Friday with hours varying between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM, including rotational weekend availability.

Position Summary

In this Phlebotomist III Territory role, you'll provide expert laboratory specimen collection across multiple sites within your designated Norfolk service territory. You'll combine clinical precision with patient-centered care, traveling to Patient Service Centers, Client Offices, and other collection venues to deliver the accurate, reliable services Quest Diagnostics is known for. This position demands both technical skill and professional dependability as you maintain specimen integrity and regulatory compliance across your entire territory.

What You'll Do

• Travel within your assigned territory to perform phlebotomy services at Patient Service Centers (PSCs), Client Offices (IOPs), and other designated collection sites
• Execute venipuncture and specimen collection with precision according to established clinical protocols
• Verify patient identification and confirm test requisitions before collection to ensure accuracy
• Maintain meticulous specimen labeling, handling, and documentation to preserve laboratory quality standards
• Follow all testing protocols and regulatory guidelines required by clinical laboratory operations
• Deliver professional, compassionate patient interaction and address collection-related patient concerns

Who We're Looking For

• Current phlebotomy certification or eligibility to obtain certification
• Demonstrated experience in territory-based or multi-site phlebotomy collection environments
• Strong attention to detail with a track record of specimen collection accuracy
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel throughout the Norfolk territory
• Flexibility to work a rotating weekend schedule as required
• Professional demeanor and strong patient communication skills
