About the Role
As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate at our Lake In The Hills location, you'll be the friendly face customers see when they visit our pharmacy counter. You'll manage point-of-sale transactions, provide knowledgeable assistance, and ensure every visit leaves a lasting impression. Working under the direct supervision of our pharmacy team, you'll support the full range of pharmacy operations while maintaining the high standards Walgreens customers expect.
What You'll Do
- Operate the pharmacy cash register with accuracy and efficiency, processing customer payments and managing transactions
- Greet customers warmly and provide courteous, prompt service at the pharmacy counter
- Respond to customer inquiries about pharmacy services and general health-related questions, referring complex questions to the pharmacist
- Assist the pharmacist with pharmacy operations, including inventory management, prescription processing, and system data entry
- Use pharmacy management systems to accurately access and input patient information in compliance with federal and state regulations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming pharmacy environment
- Follow all health, safety, and regulatory requirements essential to pharmacy practice
