You'll be the frontline expert who safeguards homes and businesses from pest problems and maintains their outdoor spaces. This role combines technical pest management knowledge with direct client interaction, requiring both problem-solving skills and customer service expertise.
What You'll Do
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest activity, infestation signs, and vulnerabilities
- Diagnose pest species and assess the scope of infestations to recommend appropriate treatment strategies
- Apply approved pest control treatments safely and effectively using industry-standard equipment and products
- Perform lawn care maintenance and treatments as needed to maintain property conditions
- Educate property owners on prevention strategies, treatment options, and post-treatment care instructions
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, treatments, and customer interactions
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to protect yourself, clients, and the environment
- Maintain equipment in proper working condition and report maintenance needs
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Physical ability to lift, climb, bend, and perform work in various weather conditions
- Willingness to obtain or already hold relevant pest control licensing as required by Florida
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor with customers
- Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures consistently
- Reliability and the ability to work independently in the field
- Prior experience in pest control, lawn care, or related service work is a plus
