In this full-time position, you'll serve as a vital front-line professional in our Radiology Department, creating positive patient experiences while managing appointments, insurance verification, and critical administrative functions.

About the Role

Our Radiology Ambulatory Reception Scheduler Coordinator role combines customer service excellence with operational coordination to keep our Saint Paul radiology facility running smoothly. Working Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 10:00 PM, you'll be the welcoming face patients encounter first, setting the tone for their entire visit while handling the behind-the-scenes details that make efficient scheduling possible.

What You'll Do

• Greet patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism as the primary point of contact in our Radiology Department
• Schedule and confirm radiology appointments, optimizing clinic flow while accommodating patient needs
• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility prior to patient services
• Perform patient check-in and registration using electronic health records systems
• Answer phones and direct inquiries to appropriate department staff
• Manage clerical tasks including paperwork, filing, and data entry
• Communicate with radiology clinical teams to coordinate appointment logistics
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient privacy in all interactions
