About the Role
You'll serve as a clinical provider delivering direct patient care in an urgent care environment. Working within your state licensure and professional scope of practice, you'll evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute conditions and minor illnesses. This role emphasizes clinical judgment, efficiency, and compassionate care in a fast-paced setting where you'll see diverse patient presentations and make meaningful treatment decisions daily.
What You'll Do
- Assess and treat patients presenting with acute medical conditions, minor injuries, and urgent care needs
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and focused evaluations
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic testing and laboratory work
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans within your clinical scope
- Document clinical encounters thoroughly and maintain accurate medical records
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the care team on patient management
- Follow established clinical protocols and evidence-based standards of care
- Contribute to a safe, efficient, and patient-centered urgent care operation
What We're Looking For
- Valid, current state licensure and professional credentials as APRN or PA
- Current national certification (AANP or ANCC for APRN; PANCE/PANRE for PA)
- Completion of an accredited graduate nursing or physician assistant program with clinical training
- Demonstrated clinical skills and experience in urgent or acute care preferred
- Strong clinical reasoning and ability to manage multiple patients efficiently
- Excellent communication skills and genuine commitment to patient care
- Professional judgment, reliability, and accountability in healthcare delivery
