Join Santa Rosa County School District as a Paraprofessional IW 1:1 or Teacher Assistant IW 1:1 (ESE/NET) serving students in Milton, Santa Rosa County. This full-time, limited-term position offers the opportunity to provide dedicated one-on-one instructional support within our Exceptional Student Education framework.

About the Role

As a Paraprofessional IW 1:1 (ESE/NET) or Teacher Assistant IW 1:1, you'll work directly with students in our Exceptional Student Education programs, providing essential learning support tailored to individual needs. You'll collaborate with teachers and specialists to implement targeted instructional strategies and help students build academic skills and confidence.

What You'll Do

• Deliver one-on-one instructional support to assigned students according to lesson plans and teacher direction
• Assist in implementing ESE-focused learning activities and academic skill-building interventions
• Monitor and document student progress, sharing observations with classroom teachers
• Support student behavior management and social-emotional development
• Help prepare and organize instructional materials and learning resources
• Maintain communication with teachers, families, and school leadership about student performance and needs

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 48 semester hours of college coursework applied toward an Associate's degree (documented by college transcript), OR passing score on the PRAXIS exam
• Genuine interest in supporting students with diverse learning profiles
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Willingness to work collaboratively with teachers and school staff
