Schneider is seeking experienced Owner-operator Van Truckload Team Truck Drivers based in or near East Point, Georgia — full-time professionals ready to run their own operation with the backing of one of North America's most established carriers.

About the Role

As an Owner-operator Van Truckload Team Driver with Schneider, you and a co-driver partner will haul freight across the continental US under your own authority while leveraging Schneider's freight network, dispatch support, and industry-leading infrastructure. Team driving means more miles covered per load — and the ability to keep your business moving around the clock while each partner meets federally mandated rest requirements.

What You'll Do

• Transport van truckload freight on long-haul lanes throughout the United States as part of a two-driver team
• Coordinate with your co-driver to maximize on-road hours while remaining compliant with FMCSA Hours of Service regulations
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate ELD logs
• Communicate professionally with shippers and receivers during pickup and delivery
• Manage your owner-operator business — including fuel, maintenance scheduling, and compliance documentation — with Schneider's support network behind you
• Uphold cargo security and load integrity standards throughout each haul

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
• Proven experience operating as an owner-operator or in an over-the-road truckload capacity
• A reliable co-driver partner or willingness to be paired with one through Schneider's team matching resources
• A qualifying tractor that meets Schneider's equipment standards, or the ability to obtain one
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and current DOT medical certification
• Strong time management skills and the discipline to manage an independent business on the road
• Commitment to safety, professionalism, and on-time service
